Shipping & Returns

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges will be the actual charge (determined by your choice on the shipping page when you check out) plus a $1.99 packaging and handling fee.

Shipping and handling cannot be refunded on returns.

Shipping Timeframe

The Bead Company will process most orders within 48 hours. The shipping department is open Monday-Friday. Orders received on Friday may not be able to be processed until the following Monday. The method of shipping you choose will then determine the timeframe from the ship date.

Return Policy – all sales are final

All sales are final. However, in certain circumstances and with prior approval, we may honor certain returns or exchanges for store credit minus a 10% restocking fee on any returns. Your original receipt is needed. You will be responsible for any shipping.

Opened or partial items, cut materials, stringing, books, tools, loose beads are not refundable.

Returns must be authorized in advance. Contact orders@bead-co.com for return requests. Any defective items will of course be replaced at our cost by The Bead Company.

Minimum Orders

A $10.00 minimum order is required for online purchases. A $5.00 fee will apply to any purchase under $10.00
Wholesale Order Online require a minimum purchase of $200.00

Tax

Tax is charged to all orders within the state of South Dakota. All other state residents are responsible for declaring their own taxes.

Wholesale

The Bead Company offers wholesale pricing only to established applicable (jewelry/bead related) businesses with a valid Tax ID # and sales license. ONCE YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED, Online wholesale orders must meet a minimum purchase of $200.00 to qualify. When you shop in person at The Bead Co. of Sioux Falls retail store, a $20.00 minimum purchase will apply to established wholesale accounts.
How do I apply for wholesale status?
We will need to receive, from your jewelry or bead related business, a copy of your current tax license along with a completed South Dakota Excemption Certificate or Resale Certificate. You can obtain the exemption certificate at http://www.state.sd.us/auditor/exemptionform.pdf You can fax, mail, email or drop off in person actual copies of these 2 items.
